Ettlingen/Coburg, May 6, 2026 – SoftProject GmbH has gained a new customer for its X4 BPMS data and IT integration platform in Brose, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. Brose will use X4 BPMS as its central integration platform for connecting IT, OT, and shop floor systems. The goal is to integrate data and systems from production, the cloud, and corporate IT in an efficient, scalable, and future-proof manner.
“X4 will serve as our central data hub on the shop floor, integrating seamlessly into our standard technology stack,” says Christian Ley, CIO of Brose. “This will lay the foundation for globally scalable, robust, and future-proof production processes.”
As part of the ongoing digital transformation of its global production landscape, Brose is leveraging X4 BPMS as a strategic integration layer to standardize and orchestrate complex integration scenarios—including those between MES, ERP cloud systems—on a global scale. More than 200 preconfigured adapters, combined with the low-code approach, enable the rapid implementation of new integration and automation scenarios while ensuring high scalability and governance.
“Brose’s decision to adopt X4 BPMS underscores the need for a powerful, stable, and future-proof integration platform for global production environments,” says André Scheffknecht, CEO of SoftProject GmbH. “Together, we are laying the groundwork for end-to-end digitalization and a consistent data supply throughout the entire value chain.”
With X4 BPMS, Brose is significantly enhancing its integration capabilities and laying the groundwork for future digitalization and automation initiatives in production and on the shop floor.
