X4 Administration: Managing the X4 Installation and Landscape

Are you already using X4 BPMS and want to become even faster and more flexible? Then take control of the installation, administration, operation, and (standard) updates yourself! In this training, we’ll show you how this works and how you can independently monitor your processes and resolve any errors directly.

Together, we will analyze the installation and environment parameters of X4 BPMS and provide tips on how to use them optimally and effectively. The focus will be on various real-world scenarios and tasks from your daily work that you can implement immediately: How are (standard) updates performed, SSL certificates set up and updated, new database drivers installed, logging settings changed, or the server hardened? From this, we will derive various monitoring strategies and outline the fundamentals of different operating modes and high-availability architectures.

• Install and configure the X4 Suite yourself.
• Perform standardized updates.
• Handle new setup tasks, such as a new database connection, and typical maintenance tasks on your own.
• Counter typical administrative error scenarios in the various components.
• Implement potential architecture upgrades—such as containers, load balancers, or high availability.
• Shorten your response time in the event of outages—be proactive instead of reactive!
