Our story

Since our foundation in 2000, the SoftProject Group has grown from a local specialist in Ettlingen, Germany into a European leader for data, integration, automation and governance. Strengthened by the acquisitions of dataspot. in 2026 and Blueway in 2025 we bring together diverse teams and deep expertise, and we’ve built a group that helps organizations simplify complexity, accelerate transformation and unlock the full value of their data. Our greatest achievement is the development of our people, whose skills and collaboration directly translate into better outcomes, faster delivery and long term success for our customers.

2026

Acquisition of dataspot., further expanding analytics capabilities and reinforcing the group’s focus on data value creation and

Acquisition of Blueway, strengthening the group’s expertise in integration and data-driven enterprise solutions

2024

SoftProject enters a strategic partnership with Main Capital Partners, which acquires a majority stake to accelerate growth, internationalization and product expansion. Founder and CEO Dirk Detmer remains managing director and shareholder.

Entered Swiss market and launched X4 BPMS 7.0. reinforcing our commitment to continuous product innovation.

Thanks to SoftProject we were able to implement our pilot project quickly and easily. The seamless transfer of the captured data from the form to the geoinformation system now allows 80% of GIS adjustments to be processed fully automatically.
